New York Massage Parlors: Two more illegal rooming houses in Hamilton

HAMILTON — After a brief lull, township officials say they’ve discovered two more illegal boarding house operations in Hamilton, adding to the number of homes packed with occupants that the township has discovered since August.
The two latest houses, both on Nottingham Way, represent the sixth and seventh alleged illegal boarding operations discovered since the summer, when five were discovered in a span of little more than a month.
One of the houses, located at 2633 Nottingham Way, is located only doors down from a massage parlor raided by police for prostitution in June.
Robert Warney, the township’s director of community planning and compliance, said both the boarding house and massage parlor property are owned by the same man, Paul Tremblay, who reportedly told township officials that he did not know what was going on behind closed doors at the Europa Massage Parlor.

New York Adult Entertainment: Sin of the flesh tempts golf god Tiger Woods

Clinton, it should be noted, was a keen golfer. Obviously he knows a thing or two about getting out of a sand trap. Then there was comedian and serial womaniser Chico Marx, whose wife caught him kissing a chorus girl.
“I wasn’t kissing her – I was whispering in her mouth,” he is said to have protested.
If that doesn’t appeal, Woods could always go with the tried-and-tested “blame the wife” defence. When Billy Bob Thornton stepped out on Angelina Jolie, he replied that she had driven him to it by being “too smart”.
“I felt insignificant in front of her,” he whined. “That’s what happens when you marry a sex goddess with a really high IQ.”
But perhaps the most inspired performance came from comedian Eddie Murphy who was literally caught with his pants down after a shortlived encounter with a transvestite prostitute.

New York Escorts: Tiger and the Gold Digger? What Tiger could learn from politicians

Tales of arguments between Tiger and his wife over the relationship between him and Rachel Uchitel, has fueled speculation that the world’s number one golfer – excuse the pun – as been on the “prowl”. This speculated insatiable appetite for late night / early morning “snacks” may be the reason why the Woods family has had little to say as in regard to the details of what really happened that eventful Friday morning.
Lessons to be learned
If there are lessons for Tiger to learn from his personal but now public melodrama, it’s the lessons of past and present politicians who were guilty of infidelity. The late Massachusetts (D) Senator Ted Kennedy was destined as many believed, to one day become the President of the United States, and had it not been for his boozing and womanizing this may have occurred.
Let’s not forget South Carolina Governor (R) Mark Sanford’s romantic disappearance in Argentina with María Belén Chapur or Nevada Senator (R) John Ensign’s fling with a campaign aide, Cynthia Hampton, and of course Senator David Vitter’s “serious sin” involving an escort service.

New York Adult Entertainment: Edelmiro Gonzalez kills son, shoots family in Paterson

At one point, a woman arrived at a police roadblock near East 18th Street distraught and crying before being quickly escorted away.
Bystanders stood behind yellow crime scene tape sharing rumors about the killings as investigators marked the spots where evidence had been found.
For many interviewed, the sight of police cars and bloody pavement has become common in a neighborhood they said is overwhelmed with violence.
In January 2007, Paterson Police Officer Tyron Franklin was shot and killed during a robbery at a fried chicken store next to where the Gonzalez children were shot.
A prostitute was recently stabbed a block west of Saturday’s shootings and a taxi driver was shot in the area last year, said a man living in the area who asked not to be indentified.

New York Adult Entertainment: Hooker’s Dead Baby Found During Sex Trafficking Bust

The ringleaders appeared in Brooklyn Federal Court Wednesday night.  Domingo Salazar, 33, and Norma Mendez, 32, face sex trafficking charges and could face additional counts. The illegal immigrants from Mexico allegedly forced a young woman into prostitution, abused her and barred her from getting medical care for the infant when he fell ill last January.

According to a federal affidavit, the couple launched the prostitution ring out of their New York apartment in April 2007.  Salazar met the young woman in Mexico, got her pregnant and smuggled her into the United States.  The woman gave birth to Salazar’s son in New York in November 2007, according to officials.  Salazar forced her to sell sex to “repay” a $2,500 smuggling fee.

The young woman is now recovering after being rescued from the 40th Street home after investigators received a tip about a brothel.  The woman’s name has not been released. Other immigrant woman were also forced into prostitution but they have not been located.

New York Adult Entertainment: A Begrudging Admiration of Las Vegas

Yet I knew that Las Vegas was born from the loins of Los Angeless greatest gangsters and from the great Hoover Dam project which employed thousands of men in the Depression to bring the water and power that made the desert bloom. And finally, you add Hollywood into the mix, with its stagecraft and pleasure machine technology, and you can create ersatz reality on a grander scale than the real thing.
You can make a convincing great ship on the silver screen from a three-foot long model, if its well enough made. And magic has long been part of the business of organized crime. Thugs have been running prostitution, night clubs, amusement parks, horse racing and have even had a hand in the movie business for nearly a century. Here in the desert, the thuggery has taken on a new and possibly redeeming dimension, by the simple expedient of mixing large amounts of magic and stagecraft into the brew.

New York Adult Entertainment: The Horrors Of Diversity–”Police: Infant’s Body Found Inside Brooklyn Brothel”

Updated 11/26/2009 02:46 PM Police in Brooklyn say the body of an infant was discovered Wednesday inside the home of a couple accused of running a brothel.
Investigators raided the Sunset Park home where they discovered the remains of a baby entombed in a tub of concrete.
Police believe the body is that of an infant son belonging to an enslaved prostitute.
Domingo Salazar and his wife, Norma Mendez were arrested and charged with sex trafficking.
Prosecutors say the two forced a Mexican immigrant to work as a prostitute and that she was beaten frequently by her captors.
“She looked like she was distraught and she was always to herself, never talking to anyone, so I didn’t even know that she had a baby,” said one neighbor.

Investigators believe Salazar and Mendez forced other undocumented immigrant women into prostitution.

New York Adult Entertainment: Significant (Little) Moments Pulled From Obscurity

… I know, for a fact, that if she’s still around, she would not remember that,” said Mr. McCann, now 44 and speaking with a strong Irish lilt despite having lived in New York for 15 years. “But every single time I touch down in London, I can feel that woman’s presence, and also her generosity. So this tiny little moment affected me in all sorts of extraordinary ways.”
All sorts of tiny and extraordinary moments make up “Let the Great World Spin,” a polyphonic novel set in 1970s New York that also works as an allegory about resilience and recovery after Sept. 11, 2001.
In one scene a group of prostitutes dances around an old man in a wheelchair whom they have rolled into the back of a fruit-and-vegetable truck, giving him a birthday to remember. An 18-year-old computer hacker falls in love with the voice of a legal librarian, whom he hears talking on a pay phone. A radical Irish monk hangs a spoon off his nose to impress a Guatemalan nurse and her children. A white judge apologizes for being rude to a working-class African-American woman who visits his wife at their Park Avenue apartment.
