Miss USA Rima Fakih says pole-dancing photo scandal ‘hurt me a lot’

Miss USA Rima Fakih says she is no longer friends with a radio station employee who released pictures of her participating in a ”Stripper 101″ event in 2007.
Fakih talked with WJR’s Frank Beckmann last week about her new life in New York City, her preparations for the Miss Universe pageant and her reaction to the photo scandal that caused some to wonder if Fakih would lose her crown.
Fakih says she got on stage during the event to encourage other women to participate. She also claims that photos of her dancing weren’t “supposed to be disclosed. Though Fakih was allowed to keep her title, she says the the photo controversy “hurt me a lot.”

On Friday, authorities charged two people with carjacking and kidnapping in Caballero’s disappearance. Craig Arno, 44, of Atlantic City, and Jessica Kisby, 24, of Egg Harbor Township, allegedly abducted Caballero as he parked his car at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort shortly after 10:30 p.m. May 21.
Caballero, an apparent target of opportunity, had let his wife and daughters out of the car at the Taj’s entrance moments earlier.
Investigators tracked down the suspects after Arno used Caballero’s ATM card in Egg Harbor Township, authorities said. The two were later arrested at the nearby Golden Key Motel, a flophouse that gained notoriety in 2006 when the bodies of four prostitutes were discovered in a drainage ditch behind the building.
