New York Strip Clubs: Netflix Series Lilyhammer: Little Stevie’s Gangsta Rap Debuts February 6

Monday February 6 marks the debut for the first of five original series Netflix is currently developing for their 23.5 million-strong subscriber base. Lilyhammer was produced in Norway and its recent debut there garnered the highest ratings ever for a Norwegian dramatic series.
The series stars Little Steven Van Zandt (The Sopranos, Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, Little Steven’s Underground Garage) as the main character, Frankie (The Fixer) Tagliano. Tagliano could be a distant cousin to the beloved but ruthless strip club owner and loyal consigliere Silvio Dante from The Sopranos. It’s great to see Van Zandt take a starring role in an episodic series — he, you should pardon the expression, kills it.
The story begins as Tagliano, a mobbed up New York bar owner, becomes a FBI informant and is sent away on the witness protection plan by his own request to Norway. Why Norway? Because he saw the lovely quiet town of Lillehammer on TV during the 1984 Olympics and it looked serene — and who in their right mind would expect to find him there, of all places.

New York Adult Entertainment: The Street Sweeper is a very inspiring read

… I wondered what if an unlikely friendship blossomed with people who would otherwise never have a chance to meet. That was the beginning of the long journey of writing this novel, which took 5-1/2 years.”
One morning, on one of his first days on the job as a janitor at the hospital, Lamont finds Mandelbrot left outside in a wheelchair to get fresh air.  Annoyed by the cigarette smoke, Mandelbrot asks Lamont to take him back to his room. Lamont, who wants to make it to his six-month probationary period without incident, is understandably reluctant. He works in Building Services, he says. It’s the job of Patient Escort Services to handle patients.
But seeing as that there is no one from Patient Escort Services around, he decides to do it himself.

New York Strip Clubs: State Dept. pulls visa sponsor’s designation

The agency also plans on “re-emphasizing the adult entertainment industry prohibition by specifically prohibiting jobs with escort services, adult book/video stores, massage parlors, and strip clubs.”
Another change: Capping the number of hours a student could work at 40 – a move the agency predicted would be “by far the most controversial.”
“Almost all SWT employers expect their participants to work more than a 40-hour week,” Ereli wrote.
Critics say that’s one of the problems with the program: Students, like the ones in Pennsylvania, are often exploited – working long hours with no overtime and forced to live in substandard housing. The AP interviewed dozens of students across the country who complained about working conditions, many in resort areas in Florida, the Carolinas and Pennsylvania.

The AP also found that third-party brokers forced some women – mostly from Eastern European nations – to work in U.S. strip clubs.

New York Strip Clubs: ‘Unsung:’ ‘Full Force’ Recap

But the group had another idea. They wanted to produce a band with a lead female singer. They wanted a woman who was Latin and seemed to be the real Roxanne. Then Lisa Martinez was found. She auditioned for Full Force in Brooklyn and was terrified when she first met them. They wrote a song for her that was supposed to be from the woman’s prospective. It was called, “I Wonder If I Take You Home” and was a hit for the group Full Force created for her, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam.
Full Force went on to sign with Columbia Record and immediately had the hit, “Alice.” They also created the Alice Sandwich dance move which had Paul lifting up a woman and one of his brothers on stage.
The group had everything going for it, including, in their own words, a stripper mentality; they dressed like rockers and hip hop singers, and had the right hair style, the jheri curl.

New York Adult Entertainment: Bronx man sentenced to prison for role in Norwalk prostitution ring

The defense claimed that Franklin wanted to impress Briggs by introducing him to the girls, because Briggs was also a rapper and had access to a state-of-the-art recording studio. The defense further asserted that Franklin did not profit from the prostitution ring, and he did not know that the 14-year-old was underage.
Briggs was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison. Giovanni Vasquez, who is accused of driving the prostitutes across state lines to meet with customers, is awaiting sentencing.
In his sentencing memorandum, U.S. Attorney David B. Fein wrote that the 14-year-old took to the streets, because her homelife was “horrendous.”
“Tragically, working as a prostitute for Briggs was better than living at home, and safer than working for other pimps who often times beat and brutalize their victims to maintain control over them,” he wrote. “This young girl is a shell of a human being. She is scarred for life, and she continues to struggle.”

New York Escorts: Man Sentenced in Norwalk Sex-Trafficking Case

NORWALK, Conn. – A New York man has been sentenced for his role in a Norwalk prostitution ring, according to David B. Fein, U.S. attorney for Connecticut.
This is an account of what happened, according to Fein: Harry Franklin, aka “Streets” and “Uncle Stacks,” 27, of the Bronx, N.Y., was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Janet C. Hall in Bridgeport to 51 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release for his involvement in an interstate prostitution enterprise that included the sex trafficking of two minor victims.
Franklin, his cousin Theodore “Peejaye” Briggs, Giovanni Vazquez and others were involved in a prostitution business that Briggs ran out of his Norwalk apartment. In 2010, Franklin introduced Briggs to a woman and a 14-year-old girl who subsequently began to work in Briggs’ prostitution business. Franklin also helped facilitate the transportation of women and minors between Connecticut, New York and New Jersey to engage in commercial sex acts.
